An AR-powered height-tracking tool helping parents monitor their child’s growth against WHO standards.

Project Overview

For the Bonakid AR Filter project, I led the production of an interactive Instagram filter designed to help parents track their child’s height against WHO standards - to see whether a child is under, within, or above the recommended height range. My role spanned modifying and adapting visual assets for AR, coordinating teams in India and Singapore, and overseeing a rigorous testing process that involved over 20 parents and 11 rounds of iteration. The goal was to make growth monitoring simple, intuitive, and accurate — translating a traditionally clinical measurement into a parent-friendly AR experience.

Final Outcome

The Bonakid AR filter was successfully launched in the Philippines in January 2024. The final product delivered a smooth, multi-step AR experience that empowered parents to check whether their child’s height was under, within, or above the WHO growth range. Through rigorous testing and refinement, the filter achieved high usability and accuracy. Its launch provided Bonakid with an innovative, first-of-its-kind digital tool that blended health insights with accessible AR technology
