Google for Games Summit
A global rebrand and creative refresh for Google's global virtual game conference
Project Overview
Google for Games Developer Summit 2024 is Google’s global virtual conference dedicated to empowering game developers with new tools, insights, and technology. For the 2024 edition, Google sought a complete visual refresh—moving away from the older identity used in previous summits and giving the event a more modern, energetic, and future-forward aesthetic.
As Lead Producer, I oversaw a fully international production workflow spanning the UAE, Brazil, Singapore, France, and India, while collaborating closely with Google’s teams in the United States and Korea. Beyond managing timelines and workflows across multiple time zones, I was deeply involved in the production process — from refining the new visual direction to shaping the tone, pacing, and overall design approach for the Summit’s digital presence.
Scope of Work
Global Production Management
- Directed and coordinated creative teams across five countries, ensuring alignment in design, animation, and delivery for a worldwide virtual event.
Event Rebranding & Visual Identity
- Helped lead the creative refresh for the 2024 Summit, shifting away from legacy designs and establishing a cleaner, more modern visual language for all assets.
Hero Video Production
- Oversaw the development of the main hero video that anchored the Summit experience, including narrative structure, pacing, visual rhythm, and animation.
Social Media Assets
- Managed the creation of promotional assets tailored for Google Play and Google for Games’ social channels, ensuring consistency across formats and platforms.

Final Outcome
The final deliverables included a complete suite of rebranded assets for the Google for Games Developer Summit 2024, including the hero video, a full set of social media creatives, and web design materials that defined the event’s visual identity.
The new design direction gave the Summit a refreshed visual presence, elevating its appeal to global game developers while maintaining the clarity and professionalism expected from Google. Despite spanning multiple continents and time zones, production was executed smoothly—resulting in a cohesive, modern, and fully updated creative experience for one of Google’s most important annual developer events.
