Project Overview
Chipper Cash’s official Rwanda launch marked a strategic expansion into one of East Africa’s most promising digital economies. Rwanda’s rapid digital adoption, strong financial infrastructure, and progressive regulatory environment make it an attractive market for fintech innovation—an ideal foundation for Chipper Cash to bolster its regional presence. The launch event, held during the Kigali Fintech Summit 2023, brought together global delegates, cultural performers, and a headline drone light show to introduce the brand in a bold, culturally grounded way.
As the co-lead producer, I oversaw the end-to-end development of this event, working closely with cross-continental teams across Rwanda, Singapore, Brazil, and France. My role spanned production planning, and operational execution — from shaping the event’s Rwandan-inspired visual identity to coordinating event planners, photographers and vendors. I also led all marketing deliverables, including the promo video, digital billboards, radio segments, and social ads, while serving as the main communication bridge with the Chipper Cash team. This involved aligning creative decisions, managing timelines, and ensuring that every on-ground and digital touchpoint came together seamlessly for a unified, impactful launch.
Scope of Work
Event Production Leadership:
- Co-led overall planning and execution, managing designers, drone technicians, and event planners across multiple time zones.
Brand Identity Creation:
- Developed the visual identity of the launch event, ensuring Chipper Cash’s branding resonated authentically with Rwandan culture and aesthetics.
Drone Light Show Production:
- Coordinated a cross-regional drone team to stage a large-scale light show aligned with the brand narrative.
Vendor & Logistics Management:
- Oversaw vendor sourcing, negotiations, scheduling, and compliance for event operations in Kigali.





Final Outcome
The result was a high-impact, multi-sensory brand launch staged alongside the Kigali Fintech Summit 2023, attended by international delegates and industry leaders. Chipper Cash’s brand identity was brought to life through a cohesive event ecosystem—from the drone show that lit up the Kigali sky, to the Rwandan-inspired visual design, to the promotional campaign reaching audiences online, on radio, and on the streets. The event strengthened Chipper Cash’s presence in East Africa and positioned the brand as a forward-thinking player in the region’s fintech landscape.
