Six narrative ads using motion-captured 2D characters and AI-generated voiceovers

Project Overview

With VTuber culture increasingly popular in Japan, I worked closely with the client and our France-based motion team in a new ad approach for Survivor I/O. Combining 2D VTuber-style characters, motion capture, gameplay and fully AI-generated voiceovers, I oversaw a 6-week long project that included avatar creation, storyline development and AI voiceover translations, focusing on using lifelike AI voiceovers from Elevenlabs, Motion Capture using Animaze, so that the characters feel authentic, expressive and tailored for the Japanese market.

Scope of Work

AI Voiceover Production

- Created fully AI-generated English voiceovers, refining tone, pacing, and emotion to achieve the most natural delivery before localisation.

Motion Capture & Animation Integration

- Coordinated motion-capture sessions and collaborated with the France animation team to bring character performances to life.

Creative & Production Leadership

- Led client communication, production planning, and end-to-end project management from concept to delivery.
